Variety description

The plant forms a bush 100 to 150 cm in height, in some cases reaching 200–250 cm. Stems are sturdy, foliage is large, dark green, sometimes with a purple hue. Mophead-type inflorescences have a diameter of 15–20 cm. By autumn, the flower color can change to burgundy or plum tones.

Flowering lasts from July to September; the variety is capable of forming buds on both previous year's and new shoots. The plant belongs to winter hardiness zone 6 (down to –18...–23 °C) and requires covering in cold climates. The intensity of the inflorescence color depends on the soil pH level.
