Variety description

The flowers of the variety are colored in a royal purple shade, with a yellow signal and a white spot present on the falls. Thin gray-green leaves appear simultaneously with the buds. After the flowering period, the foliage reaches a height of 30–40 cm.
The plant is classified as early-flowering, with the flowering period occurring in February–March. The variety is winter-hardy and shows resistance to Verticillium wilt, as well as to damage by deer and rabbits.
Cultivation requires sunny areas or partial shade with well-drained soil of neutral or slightly alkaline reaction. An important condition is the absence of stagnant moisture during the summer dormancy period of the bulbs.
