Variety description

The plant is dwarf and reaches a height of 10–15 cm. Narrow linear grey-green foliage grows simultaneously with the appearance of flowers in late winter or early spring.

The variety prefers a sunny location or light partial shade and well-drained soils. Successful vegetation and flower bud formation require dry soil during the summer dormancy period. The plant possesses winter hardiness and is suitable for rock gardens, borders, and container cultivation.
