The fruits of this variety are oval in shape, rounded at the base, and possess a sweet, spicy flavor. The shell is thin, with deep grooves and prominent ridges along the suture line. The kernel is light in color and easily extracted from the shell.

The tree is considered late-productive and begins to bear fruit approximately 15 years after planting. Harvest is carried out in September–October. The variety is susceptible to infection by the nematode Mesocriconema xenoplax, which damages the root system.

The variety belongs to local ecotypes of folk selection that have been cultivated for centuries. It is used in cooking, the confectionery industry, and in the production of oils and walnut liqueur.
