Variety description

The plant is a compact shrub 0.5–1 meter high and up to 2 meters wide. The needles are short, acicular, and very dense, having a silvery-blue color, while new growth features a brighter turquoise hue.
The variety is classified as slow-growing with an annual growth rate of 3–5 cm in height. It possesses high frost resistance, corresponding to zones 4–8. The plant is sensitive to moisture stagnation, requiring good drainage to prevent root rot, and may need crown protection during heavy snowfall.
It is used in ornamental gardening for planting in rock gardens, rockeries, on slopes and retaining walls, and is also suitable for container cultivation.
