The plant reaches a height of 15–30 cm with a crown width of 40–75 cm. It has a dense structure and occasionally produces glaucous berry-cones at maturity. The habit is characterized by a high degree of branching.

The variety is intended for use in rock gardens, heather gardens, flower beds, and as a groundcover plant or container crop. It prefers sunny or semi-shaded areas with well-drained soil, is drought-tolerant, and does not require pruning.
