Variety description

The plant is a slow-growing shrub with stiff, dense branches. By the age of ten, the height reaches 25–50 cm, and the crown width reaches up to 1.5–3 meters. The needles are needle-like, short, pointed, and colored in a silvery-blue or steel color, acquiring a gray-green shade in winter.
The variety possesses high winter hardiness and drought tolerance after rooting. Under the weight of snow cover, the branches may spread, so it is recommended to tie them up during snowy winters. The plant is valued for its stability of form and decorative appearance, and is used for planting in rock gardens, on slopes, and in containers.
