The variety forms spicate inflorescences, plant dimensions are approximately 30 by 30 cm. Flowering occurs in the period from March to May.

The plant is thermophilic and does not tolerate frost, therefore in cold winter conditions it is grown only in greenhouses or as a houseplant. Propagation is possible by leaf cuttings, with the best results achieved when using proximal parts of the leaves in the inflorescence emergence phase.
