FRILL ICE
ActiveLactuca sativa L. · Lettuce
SVS Holland B.V.
10 August 2026
The plant forms a powerful cone-shaped stem with a diameter of up to 5 cm and a weight of 500–800 g. The taste of the flesh resembles kohlrabi with a slight specific aftertaste. In addition to the stems, young leaves at the rosette stage are suitable for consumption.
The vegetation period lasts 50–60 days. It is recommended to harvest before the start of flowering so that the stems do not become coarse. The crop allows for both transplant cultivation, starting from February, and direct sowing into the soil; it requires weeding to form a powerful stem.
