The variety belongs to the butter lettuce type and is part of the Salanova line. The plant forms 2–4 times more leaves than standard varieties, which are attached to a single core. This provides a "one-cut" technology, in which, after removing the core, a multitude of ready-to-eat fragments are formed.
The leaves possess a delicate taste and a contrasting green-red coloration. The variety has the genetic Knox trait, which slows down oxidation and browning of cuts. It is resistant to tip burn and is slow to bolt, making it suitable for cultivation during the warm period both in open field and in greenhouses or hydroponics.
The product is intended for fresh use, in particular for the production of salad mixes. High processability allows it to be used without complex slicing both in industrial processing and at home.
