The plant forms dense heads 15–17 cm in diameter with a tightly packed core. The leaves have a characteristic light green, "golden-yellow" color. The variety is reproductive, is not a hybrid, and is distinguished by its compactness, which allows for dense planting.
The variety is valued for its ability to maintain the formed head for a long time before bolting. It is intended primarily for cultivation in greenhouses, tunnels, and under glass to obtain early produce, and is also suitable for cultivation in the autumn period.
