The variety belongs to the Batavian group and occupies an intermediate position between butterhead and iceberg lettuce. The plant forms heads with tender, crisp leaves colored with an intense reddish-purple shade at the edges.
Cultivation is possible from February to August provided that light conditions, moderate temperatures, and regular watering are ensured. The variety possesses resistance to fungal infections, but is considered demanding in terms of agronomic practices due to sensitivity to sharp weather changes and the risk of tipburn.
