Variety description

The plant is a compact, oval-shaped shrub that reaches a height of 1.8–3 meters and a width of 1.2–2.4 meters at maturity. During the summer, the foliage has a decorative dark reddish-green, almost purple-black color.
Large white flowers are gathered in inflorescences; blooming begins in June and continues throughout the summer. The buds are yellow-green with a reddish tint at the apex. Cyclical pruning is possible to stimulate reblooming.
The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and Cercospora leaf spot, as well as drought tolerance after establishment. The plant is adapted to hardiness zones 7–9, while in zone 6 it is capable of recovering from the roots. It is used as a specimen plant, for creating hedges, and for container cultivation.
