The plant forms a rounded, vertically oriented crown. The leaves have a dark purple color, a glossy surface, and are positioned mainly flat.
Large dark pink inflorescences are formed at the tips of the shoots at the beginning of the summer period. The variety is deciduous and exhibits high resistance to powdery mildew infection.
The plant is used in landscape design as a solitary plant, for edging, or for cultivation in containers.
