Variety description

The plant is a compact shrub 1.2–1.5 m in height. Young leaves have a reddish hue, becoming dark green with a glossy sheen at maturity and turning red again in autumn.
Flowering begins in early summer and continues until autumn, provided that spent inflorescences are removed. The flowers are white and gathered in panicles. The variety possesses resistance to powdery mildew and Cercospora leaf spot, and withstands temperatures as low as -15 °C.
