The plant is a low-growing shrub with a dense crown. The foliage is narrow, grey-green in hue. The flowers are relatively large for dwarf forms, colored light violet-blue, and the buds have a grey-green tint.

Flowering occurs profusely from late spring to late summer. The variety is suitable for growing in containers, on rock gardens, and for edging borders. The plant possesses hardiness zones 5–9, aromatic foliage, and attracts pollinators.
