The plant is an evergreen shrub with grey-green foliage, reaching a height and width of about 75–80 cm. The flowers have bright pink or plum-pink bracts characteristic of Spanish lavender.
The variety is recommended for cultivation in USDA zones 8–10. The plant is drought tolerant, prefers full sun and well-drained sandy or gravelly soils. It is used as an ornamental garden plant to attract pollinators and is suitable for container cultivation.
