The plant is a dwarf compact shrub with a dense crown, reaching a height of 25–50 cm. The foliage is evergreen, grey-green in color. The flowers are mid-purple, and the flowering period occurs in summer.

The variety possesses high winter hardiness, withstanding temperatures down to -20...-25°C, and is drought-tolerant. It prefers growth in sunny locations with well-drained soils of neutral or alkaline reaction.

The plant is characterized by a distinct aroma and low camphor content, making it suitable for culinary use and essential oil production. Used in landscape design for creating borders, container growing, and in rock gardens.
