The variety is a complex interspecific hybrid obtained by crossing Leptospermum scoparium, Leptospermum macrocarpum, and Leptospermum deuense. It is an evergreen dense shrub 1.0–1.5 m in height with a crown width of about 1 m. The leaves are small, aromatic, elliptical or narrow-lanceolate in shape, and dark green in color.
Flowering occurs in spring and sometimes extends into early summer. The flowers are large, up to 3 cm in diameter, solitary, and five-petaled. Upon opening, they are white, gradually acquiring a pink hue. A dark burgundy center of the flower is surrounded by prominent stamens. The plant is suitable for hedges, mixed compositions, and container cultivation.
The variety possesses high endurance: it is drought-tolerant after establishment, withstands frost down to -7°C...-10°C, and thrives in coastal zone conditions. The bushy form does not require mandatory pruning, although it is recommended to perform it after the flowering period ends to thicken the crown and encourage profuse flowering.
The right is granted for a limited term: propagation of the variety requires a license from the rights holder.
