The variety belongs to fiber flax intended for industrial fiber production. It is characterized by high yield, significantly exceeding the performance of a number of other varieties, and is used as an object of breeding and biological research, including the study of interaction with powdery mildew Oidium lini.

The plant is a spring crop sensitive to growing conditions. Breeding work with this variety is aimed at increasing fiber stiffness, as well as improving resistance to lodging and various diseases.
