The Veralin variety is a representative of fiber flax obtained using the parent lines Torshok and Lidia. The variety is intended for cultivation for the purpose of obtaining technical fiber.

In scientific literature, the variety is used as an object for comparative analysis when studying the yield of long fiber and the technological properties of flax straw. Detailed morphological and agronomic characteristics, such as maturity group or resistance to lodging, are absent in open sources.
