The variety is intended for cultivation for the purpose of producing flax products in the form of fiber. It belongs to the group of early-maturing varieties and is characterized by a high yield of straw, with a fiber yield of about 26.05%.

Vesta possesses resistance to Fusarium wilt, rust, anthracnose, and septoria. The variety is also distinguished by high environmental stability under various growing conditions.
