The variety is a tetraploid, which provides it with improved forage qualities compared to diploid forms. The plant is distinguished by its ability to actively regenerate the sward in the early spring period after overwintering.

The variety possesses high resistance to rust infection caused by the pathogen Puccinia coronata. Due to the productivity of green mass, it is used as an effective forage crop in regions with intensive crop production.
