The variety is diploid (2n). It possesses good winter hardiness. During studies, the average number of generative stems per plant was noted at approximately 183.6, and the average ear length was about 22.8 cm with a relatively small number of spikelets in the ear.

Intended for use as a forage crop. Used for producing high-quality green fodder and hay both in pure stands and in mixtures with legumes, for example with red clover. It can also be used as a cover crop.
