The variety is a tetraploid (4n) Westerwold ryegrass. It is characterized by late maturity and high disease resistance.

The plant possesses the ability for intensive growth and rapid rooting, which allows for significant yields from the first cuts. It has good nutritional value.

The primary purpose of the variety is silage and hay production; it is also suitable for use as a cover crop.
