The variety is a tetraploid Italian ryegrass. It is characterized by rapid regeneration and active regrowth in the early spring period. Morphologically, the variety stands out due to larger seeds compared to diploid forms.

The plant possesses marked resistance to crown rust (Puccinia coronata). It is intended for use as a forage crop in the production of hay, silage, or green mass harvesting.
