The variety is tetraploid (4n) and belongs to the Westerwold type, which is characterized by rapid rooting and development rates. The plants form wide and long leaf blades with a low stem-to-leaf ratio.

The variety possesses high yield of green mass and dry matter, as well as resistance to leaf and stem diseases. The production is characterized by high palatability and is suitable for intensive use as pasture forage, hay, green mass, or silage.
