The Missyl variety belongs to tetraploid (4n) varieties of Italian ryegrass. The existence of the variety is confirmed by state seed control data in the Czech Republic during the period 2004–2005.

Detailed morphological and agronomic characteristics of the variety, including data on disease resistance, productivity, and maturity periods, are absent in open publications.
