The variety is a tetraploid (4n) Italian ryegrass, characterized by wide and succulent leaves. It belongs to the late-maturing group, with flowering occurring around May 11 in Belgian conditions.
The plant possesses high nutritional value and an increased sugar content, and demonstrates intensive regrowth after mowing or grazing. Winter hardiness of the variety is rated as good, resistance to rust as moderate.
Intended for the establishment of hay meadows and pastures, it can be used both in pure stands and in grass mixtures, as well as an intercrop. Depending on conditions, it may show susceptibility to certain viral infections.
