The variety is a tetraploid form of Italian ryegrass. The plant is characterized by early spring development, medium height during the growing season, and the ability to produce up to six cuts per season under intensive use.
The variety possesses high resistance to powdery mildew and bacterial wilt, as well as good resistance to rust. Lodging resistance is medium; winter hardiness is assessed as reliable with a low to medium susceptibility to winterkill.
