The variety is diploid (2n). It is characterized by high yield, especially in the first two years of use, and the ability for rapid regrowth, which allows for multiple cuts per season.
The plant has good sward density and leafiness. It has high digestibility indicators. Under intensive farming conditions, it is used for hay and pasture applications, often as part of grass mixtures with legumes.
The variety is sensitive to low temperatures and may be susceptible to winter damage, which is a characteristic feature of many diploid varieties of this species.
