The variety belongs to the Lolium multiflorum ssp. italicum subspecies and is tetraploid (4n). It is distinguished by a pronounced distribution of yield in the summer period, rapid rooting, and active development in the spring. Unlike other varieties, it may not form generative shoots in the first year of life.

The variety possesses high resistance to rust, bacterial wilt, Fusarium, and powdery mildew. The plant is characterized by high sugar content and palatability suitable for fresh use.

The primary purpose is forage production, including hayfields and pastures. Due to its biological characteristics, the variety is also recommended for use as an intermediate cover crop.
