Variety description

10 August 2026

The variety is a tetraploid and belongs to the group of mid-maturing plants. It is characterized by rapid development, high growth energy, and marked resistance to drought and lodging. It is capable of producing up to three cuts per vegetation period with a high yield of dry matter, especially in the first cut.

The dry matter contains approximately 13.7% protein, 26.8% fiber, 0.6% calcium, and 0.2% magnesium. The average dry matter yield is 122.7 c/ha, reaching a maximum of 251.1 c/ha.

The bush is semi-erect, of medium density. Stems are green, smooth. Leaves are medium-sized, green or dark green. The inflorescence is represented by a linear green spike with awned lanceolate yellowish-green spikelets. Seeds are brown, oblong in shape.

It is used in agricultural production for the production of haylage or green mass. It is also used as part of grass mixtures, including lawn mixtures, to create a dense sward.
