The variety belongs to diploid forms of Italian ryegrass. It has historically been used in breeding work to create tetraploid varieties and hybrids, including Festulolium. Currently, the variety has been removed from official lists.

The plant is distinguished by early spring development, which makes it suitable for providing early feed in dairy farming. During trials, the variety demonstrated high productivity and frost resistance comparable to other varieties of the crop.

The main purpose of the variety includes the establishment of short-term pastures and hayfields, as well as use in grass mixtures for silage production.
