The variety is tetraploid (denoted by the letter 'T' in classifiers). It is intended for forage production, in particular for the establishment of sown meadows and pastures, and is also frequently used in seed mixtures.

Tetraploid varieties of this species differ from diploid ones in having a higher nutritional value. During testing, the variety was evaluated for yield, growth intensity, resistance to leaf diseases, and dry matter content.
