The variety is a tetraploid (4n) form obtained by treating Swiss ecotypes with colchicine. Morphologically, it is distinguished by larger seeds, wide dark green leaves, and an early heading date after vernalization.

The plant possesses increased resistance to crown rust and high winter hardiness. The biomass of the variety is characterized by high organic matter digestibility and increased sugar content, which ensures high palatability for livestock.

The variety has a high yield potential and is recommended for use in intensive livestock systems as part of specialized forage grass mixtures for producing large volumes of high-quality feed.
