The variety is a diploid perennial ryegrass. It is intended for use as a forage crop for the establishment of pastures.

In studies, the variety shows resistance to rust. Specifically, trials recorded an absence of crown rust symptoms, and comparative analyses indicated infection rates in the range of 4.8–4.9 points on a nine-point scale.
