The variety is tetraploid and belongs to the group of late-maturing varieties. In comparative studies, it demonstrates good resistance to rust infection. In the second year of use, the variety is capable of forming a dense stand, with coverage exceeding 90%.

The crop is used as a forage component for high-productivity pastures and hayfields. The tetraploid structure promotes better palatability of the plant, increased sugar content, and high nutritional value compared to diploid analogs.
