The variety forms a dense stand with narrow, shiny, dark green leaves. It possesses the ability for rapid tillering, which allows it to effectively fill in bare spots. It belongs to tetraploid forms, although documentation for individual batches may list it as 2N.

The plant is distinguished by good winter hardiness, resistance to lodging, and mechanical stress, including trampling. It possesses high resistance to a number of leaf diseases, such as brown leaf spot and red thread. The variety demonstrates an active rate of development in the spring and after mowing.

As a forage crop, it is valued for its quality indicators regarding protein, calcium, and magnesium content. Due to its biological properties, it is widely used for establishing pastures and hayfields, and is also included in the composition of professional lawn grass mixtures.
