The variety is intended for use as a forage crop for pastures or hayfields. It possesses good persistence and maintains sward density throughout the utilization period.

During agronomic trials, the variety demonstrated a high level of resistance to crown rust (Puccinia coronata) infection. It is characterized by rather late heading dates.
