Gladys is a diploid variety intended primarily for decorative and sports use. The plant is characterized by leaves of above-average fineness and ensures the formation of a rich green turf with high density.

The variety possesses resistance to common diseases such as red thread and rust. Due to its wear tolerance, it is suitable for use on sports grounds and areas with intensive traffic, while maintaining the aesthetic qualities necessary for decorative lawns.

The variety is recommended for use in regions with temperate and Mediterranean climates. As a component of grass mixtures, it is widely used in turf covers where its height is maintained by regular mowing.
