The variety is diploid and belongs to the early-maturing group with early heading; flowering occurs earlier than the control variety Nui. It is intended for establishing pastures and use in grass mixtures, and is well-adapted to a wide range of soil fertility levels and extensive grazing systems.

The plant possesses increased heat tolerance and does not contain endophytes, which eliminates the risk of ryegrass staggers in livestock. The variety is characterized by high palatability for animals, a well-developed root system, and resistance to trampling.
