The variety is tetraploid and is characterized by a bunch-type growth habit with dark green, glossy leaves. In agricultural practice, it is used primarily as a forage crop and is often included in pasture mixtures.

The variety belongs to the early or very early maturity group. In scientific research, it also serves as a subject for studying plant interactions with endophytic fungi, such as Epichloë hybrida.

In comparative trials of forage grasses, the variety demonstrates stable green mass yield indicators and is suitable for livestock grazing. Detailed data on resistance to pathogens and lodging are absent in open publications.
