The variety belongs to tetraploid types of perennial ryegrass. Unlike diploid forms used primarily in forage production, this variety is selectively adapted for lawn use for sports and functional purposes.
The tetraploid chromosome set provides the plant with increased biological hardiness, improved adaptability to drought conditions, and the ability to germinate at lower soil temperatures.
