The variety is a tetraploid created from Bulgarian breeding material using the colchicine treatment method. Plants are characterized by improved leafiness and increased height.
The produce has an increased content of water and sugars, as well as better digestibility. The variety is distinguished by high resistance to leaf diseases, winter hardiness, drought tolerance, longevity in the sward, and relative tolerance to herbicides.
The variety has a multi-functional purpose: it is used for livestock grazing, hay and silage harvesting, as well as for landscaping, soil erosion control, and phytoremediation of contaminated urban soils.
