The variety was obtained by crossingtetraploid perennial ryegrass and tetraploid hybrid ryegrass. The plant forms a dense, leafy sward with a phenotype characteristic of perennial ryegrass.
The variety is early-maturing; heading occurs earlier than in the Marmota variety. Low stem formation during the summer period contributes to maintaining the softness and high digestibility of the grass.
Characterized by high green mass yield, excellent organic matter digestibility, and high persistence. Possesses high winter hardiness and marked resistance to diseases, particularly rust.
The variety is intended for forage production and is recommended for use in grass mixtures, for example, with clover. For seed production, it is recommended to harvest seeds during the first cut.
