Zelder Holland(NL)
10 August 2026
The variety Odra is tetraploid (4n) and was created using polyploidy methods. The plant combines the biological traits of its perennial and Italian ryegrass parents, which ensures intensive spring regrowth and stable productivity.
The dry matter yield indicators of the variety exceed the corresponding data of traditional diploid varieties by 10%. Nutritional value is characterized by increased digestibility of protein and dry matter, which allows the variety to be used in forage grass mixtures.
