The variety is tetraploid and was developed through breeding work using colchicine treatment. It belongs to the intermediate type of hybrid ryegrass.
A characteristic feature is the formation of a significantly smaller number of stems during the summer period compared to Italian-type varieties, which ensures higher digestibility of the produce.
