The variety is distinguished by a favorable ratio of omega-3 and omega-6 polyunsaturated fatty acids, as well as a reduced erucic acid content. Studies show high digestibility of the product, as well as specific fermentation and gas production indicators.

The variety is classified as a "sweet" lupine, yet it contains higher levels of alkaloids compared to a number of other varieties. Yield stability is noted as one of the key characteristics of the variety during study in the Mediterranean region.
