The variety belongs to the "sweet" lupin group, which allows it to be used in fodder production. The plant is characterized as very early and has a dwarf growth type.

Studies of the variety focus on seed composition, particularly on the content of fatty acids and oil. In field trials, the grain yield of the Luxe variety showed a dependence on soil and climatic conditions and in a number of cases was lower than the indicators of other varieties.
